Reconcilers.net is a growing movement of Episcopalians working to impart faith-based reconciliation as both a spirituality and a moral vision for our life together in the Episcopal Church as well as our mission in the twenty-first century.

Our purpose is not to resolve any particular conflict, such as the conflict over human sexuality, but to be a prophetic movement to restore the heart of the gospel to the life and mission of the Episcopal Church. As such our goal is to change the culture or paradigm of the Episcopal Church to one of faith-based reconciliation and to spread this vision to the worldwide Anglican Communion.

Reconcilers.net is a movement growing out of a shared vision of the Diocese of Los Angeles and the Diocese of Western Massachusetts.

The Right Reverend J. Jon Bruno, Bishop of Los Angeles and The Right Reverend Gordon Scruton, Bishop of Western Massachusetts have the heart of reconcilers and desire to see this vision grow throughout the Episcopal Church and the Anglican Communion. Under their leadership and pastoral guidance a Diocesan Core Group has been formed in each diocese that provides leadership for this work both within each of the two dioceses and in the national church.

The Diocesan Core Group in Los Angeles consists of The Reverend Canon Brian Cox, The Honorable Joanne O’Donnell, Michael Witmer, Esq. and The Reverend Gregg Churchill.

The Diocesan Core Group in Western Massachusetts consists of The Reverend Canon Sarah Shofstall, The Reverend Dan Barker, Mr. Robert Harris and Ms. Paula Tonelli.

The Diocesan Core Group in Northern Indiana consists of The Reverend Doctor Jim Warnock, The Reverend Margaret Shaw, Ms. Nancy Moody and Ms. Nola Wegman.

These dioceses have teams of trained and committed clergy and laity who seek to be reconcilers in their own spheres of influence and together in team initiatives.
